100 Years of Neon in Warsaw!

Meet the Neon Museum

Why is there a museum dedicated to neon sign ?

Because neon has been part of Warsaw’s streets for a century. The city’s first neon appeared in 1926 and it was just the beginning…

Over the years Warsaw’s neon signs became much more than advertisements. Many were design talented artists and graphic designers, including the creators associated with the famous Polish School of Posters…

The first and only museum of Cold War era neon signs in Europe!

The Neon Museum preserves more than 100 historic neon signs and other advertising installations. Here, you can discover the stories behind the signs that once lit up Warsaw’s streets.

If you’re in Warsaw, we’d definitely recommend stopping by the Neon Museum.

It’s right in the heart of Warsaw, inside the Palace of Culture and Science, so it’s easy to add to your city walk.

A fun place to see a different side of Warsaw’s history !

Warmest thanks to our partners at Go2Warsaw, which is the Official Travel Guide and Official Tourism Organisation for the city of Warsaw, Poland.
